Gregory van der Wiel has admitted that he knows little of Netherlands opponents Kazakhstan ahead of Friday’s European Championship qualifier.

Netherlands host Kazakhstan in Amsterdam on Friday hoping to get their European Championship qualification campaign back on track after the 2-1 defeat to the Czech Republic last month.
In the absence of Daryl Janmaat, PSG right back Gregory van der Wiel is set to come into the starting eleven, but the former Ajax star has not done his homework on the opponents.
Speaking to PowNews, Van der Wiel said, “I only know Borat, I know he’s from Kazakhstan,”
Borat was a spoof comedy character from Kazakhstan played by Sacha Baron Cohen in a 2006 film.
