Liverpool suffered a defeat for the second game in a row and they are now out of the FA Cup. Chelsea defeated Virgil van Dijk & co 2-0.

After the defeat to Watford at the weekend, Jurgen Klopp made some changes for the cup clash but Van Dijk remained in the starting line-up. Georginio Wijnaldum was not involved.

Van Dijk captained Liverpool but he could not inspire his side to a win with goals from Willian and Ross Barkley either side of half-time securing a win for Chelsea.

Liverpool are now out of the Cup but they are still fighting for the Champions League and are well ahead in the Premier League.
