Sparta Rotterdam defender Rick van Drongelen is set to sign for Bundesliga side Hamburg.

The 18-year-old, who is regarded as one of Netherlands most talented youngsters, is set to earn Sparta between €3-4 million.
Van Drongelen came through the Sparta academy before making his first team debut in 2015. He was a regular for the club in the Eredivisie last season, making 31 appearances in the centre of defence or at left-back.
Hamburg recently tried to sign another Dutch centre-back, Stefano Denswil from Club Brugge, but with that move stalled they have now switched their attention to Van Drongelen.
