According to The Mirror, Louis van Gaal could replace Antonio Conte as the head coach of Chelsea.

The Italian has a strained relationship with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich after a difficult campaign and reports claim that Conte could be fired before the end of the campaign.

The Mirror is reporting that Abramovich could then turn to Louis van Gaal to take over until the end of the season.

The 66-year-old has been out of work since leaving Manchester United in 2016 and claimed he would only come out of retirement to take over a big English club which would allow him to get one over on his former club.
