The Daily Mail are reporting that the Dutchman will be announced as David Moyes successor at Old Trafford after the clubs final home game of the season against Hull on Tuesday.
Van Gaal will take charge at Manchester United when Netherlands World Cup campaign ends, but he is rumoured to be already involved with identifying targets for the transfer window.
This week, doubts had began to creep into the deal with Manchester United seemingly unsure on the number of coaches Van Gaal want’s to appoint, including his Netherlands assistant Patrick Kluivert. It now seems this hitch has been overcome, but the future of current Manchester United coaches Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt, and Paul Scholes are still unknown despite the club hoping to still have them involved.
On Monday van Gaal will announce a group of players to be involved in a pre-World Cup training group ahead of a friendly against Ecuador on May 17th.
