Rajiv van la Parra has signed a deal with Spanish Segunda side UD Logroñés until the end of the season.

The winger had been a free agent after having his contract with Red Star Belgrade terminated back in April.

Van La Parra had originally set his sights on a return to England with Queens Park Rangers, Reading and Swansea City all showing interest, but the forward’s future lies in Spain.

UD Logroñés confirmed on Monday that Van La Parra had joined the club, with the 29-year-old signing a contract until the end of the season.

Van La Parra has previously played with Feyenoord, Caen, SC Heerenveen, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Brighton & Hove Albion, Huddersfield Town and Middlesbrough.
