Rumours in England are now speculating that Robin van Persie will be staying with Manchester United after coach David Moyes was sacked from the club.
It was no secret that the Dutchman and former Manchester United manager David Moyes had their differences, to the point where Van Persie thought it better to move on from the club he fired to the Premier League title last year.
In addition to Moyes being out, it looks like Man U may name Louis Van Gaal, Van Persie and the Netherlands national coach, to helm the post as early as this week. Van Persie and Van Gaal have had a much better relationship, with Van Gaal naming Van Persie to captain of his country last year.
Van Gaal and Van Persie have also been pictured together a number of times recently in Netherlands as the striker recovered from injury. Should the former Bayern Munich and Ajax coach be named the new boss at Old Trafford, then Van Persie is likely to stick around in Manchester.
