Robin van Persie netted the winner for Fenerbahce on Sunday evening but afterwards spoke of his unhappiness at starting the game on the bench.

The Dutch striker came off the bench on 77 minutes with his side drawing 1-1 with Bursaspor, and after only three minutes Van Persie swept Markovic’s cross into the bottom corner to seal a 2-1 win for Fenerbahce.
Speaking to Lig TV after the match Van Persie admitted his anger at being left on the bench for the game a he believes he is fully fit and should be playing ninety minutes.
Van Persie said, “To be honest, I am not very happy at this moment,”
“I was not happy that I started on the bench. I am fully fit, physically very well and able to play for 90 minutes.
“The only right answer I could give was with what I did: helping the team to get the victory.”
Van Persie has scored three goals this season in nine appearances, with the striker starting five of those games.
