The Dutchman, who was signed by Norwich City from Sporting Lisbon for €10 million last summer, is expected to leave the English side after they suffered relegation from the Premier League last summer.
Norwich boss Nigel Adams confirmed to BBC that Van Wolfswinkel is in France, “He’s been speaking to them but there are a lot of things in these deals.
“If it doesn’t happen he comes back into our squad.”
Van Wolfswinkel only managed to net one goal in 27 games for Norwich last season, and has been injured recently, missing a number of pre-season friendlies.
