Marcel Keizer’s first game in charge of Sporting Club de Portugal ended in a comfortable 4-1 victory over Lusitano FCV in the Taça de Portugal.

Keizer was appointed as the new boss of the Portuguese giants just before the international break and stood in the dugout for the first time on Saturday for the cup clash.

Bas Dost scored twice, while Bruno Fernandes and Abdoulay Diaby also found the net in a comfortable 4-1 win over Lusitano FCV, who play in the third division. Luc Castaignos was left out of the squad by Keizer.

Keizer’s first big challenge comes on Thursday as Sporting face Qarabag in the Europa League.
