The on loan forward was key to his side’s victory, winning two penalties, scoring the second one in a 2-1 victory.
After the game, Janssen said, “I really enjoyed my first Istanbul derby. The atmosphere was fantastic with the passion of the supporters.
“I have never experienced anything like this before. A lot happened in the game 5 red cars in particular.
“I believe games like this happen because the players give absolutely everything. I came here to Turkey to play and be important for the team. I was involved in two penalties tonight and I managed to score one which is great.
“I did not take the first penalty due to their being agreements between the team and staff as to who takes them and these was made before I arrived.”
“Turkish football is different and I am happy to be here and it’s all part of the experience.”
