After beating Dordrecht 6-2 last weekend Vitesse have once again handed out a hammering with ADO Den Haag on the end of a 6-1 thrashing in Arnhem.

The home side got off to the perfect start on four minutes when Kelvin Leerdam fired them ahead with a powerful shot from just inside the area, and ten minutes later the midfielder added his second of the game from close range after a cross from Abiola Dauda.
ADO Den Haag were clearly shocked by their poor start, but they found a way back into the game on 20 minutes as Michiel Kramer reacted quickest to a Piet Velthuizen spilled save to stab into the net.
Any chance of a comeback from the away side was quashed in a crazy 15 minute spell at the end of the first half in which Vitesse netted three times. Firstly defender Timothy Derijk headed a Rochdi Achenteh cross into his own net, and then midfielder Marko Vejinovic curled a free kick into the top corner via a deflection, before slotting a penalty past Martin Hansen after a handball in the box.
With 30 minutes to go Dauda was bundled over in the box, which allowed Vejinovic to complete his hat-trick with another perfect spot kick and take the scoreline to 6-1 for Vitesse.
Its now three wins in four matches for Vitesse, who seem to have put their poor start to the season behind them and now sit 9th, while ADO Den Haag slip to 15th after their 4th match without a win.
