Vitesse are up to fifth after a simple 3-0 win over Heerenveen in Arnhem.

vitttheeThe home side asserted their dominance from the beginning, thanks mostly to the return of Milot Rashica, who set up Denys Oliynyk on 20 minutes to open the scoring.

Just before the break it was 2-0 as Valeri Qazaishvili latched onto a pass from Kosuke Oto before firing past Erwin Mulder.

After the break Heerenveen failed to mount a comeback and Vitesse killed the game on 53 minutes as Qazaishvili netted from the penalty spot after Roshica was fouled.

The victory puts Vitesse right back in the race for third, while Heerenveen remain 11th.
