The Englishman joined Vitesse on an initial season-long loan deal in the summer and has become a key part of Henk Fraser’s side.
According to De Telegraaf, Vitesse are hoping to keep the 19-year-old for another season. However, much will depend on whether Chelsea change their coach between now and next season.
Antonio Conte has a strained relationship with the Chelsea board and may leave at the end of the campaign. If he does then a new coach may want to keep Mount in London.
In 20 Eredivisie matches, Mount has scored seven goals and contributed three assists.
