Vitesse Arnhem has announced the signing of goalkeeper Kjell Scherpen on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion.

Vitesse Arnhem have been looking for a new goalkeeper this season to take over from Jeroen Houwen, who has conceded eight in the opening two games.
The club announced on Tuesday that they had sealed the signing of Scherpen on a season-long loan deal from Brighton.
The Netherlands U21 international started his career with Emmen and then earned a move to Ajax. In the summer of 2021 he joined Brighton and has since spent time on loan with KV Oostende in Belgium.
