According to Voetbal International, Vitesse Arnhem have identified Thomas Letsch as their main candidate to become the club’s new head coach.

Earlier this week, Vitesse confirmed that Edward Sturing would be taking a different role at the club, clearing the path for a new head coach.

VI is reporting that Letsch is the man that Vitesse have set their sights on, with Technical director Johannes Spors a fan of the German.

The 51-year-old has worked as head coach with FC Liefering, Erzgebirge Aue, and most recently Austria Wien. He has been out of work since leaving Wien in March 2019. He was also assistant coach with Red Bull Salzburg between 2013 and 2015.
