mceachranAfter loaning both defender Wallace, and attacker Bertrand Traore from the Premier League club this summer, Vitesse are set to welcome another player from Chelsea.

Josh McEachran, who was seen as one of English brightest young talents a few years ago, has slipped down the pecking order in Jose Mourinho’s side, and has now reportedly agreed terms to move to Arnhem until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old has spent the past two-and-a-half seasons out on loan at Swansea City, Middlesbrough, Watford, and most recently Wigan, with the midfielder racking up 62 appearances between the four clubs.

McEachran will bolster Vitesse boss Peter Bosz squad, but with a number of central midfielders at the club, it remains to be seen where the youngster will fit in. It is not likely to be the end of Vitesse’s transfer activity with the club desperate to find a new striker after Mike Havenaar’s departure at the end of last season.
