Vitesse have confirmed the signing of Chelsea midfielder Mukhtar Ali on a three-year deal.

The 19-year-old spent six months of last season on loan in Arnhem, making six appearances, but has now made the move from London permanent, signing his three-year deal on Monday.
Technical Director Mo Allach told the Vitesse website “Mukhtar knows the club and the way we play now. He is multifunctional in midfield. The next season he can develop and prove to be a valuable player for Vitesse. ”
Ali is the seventh Vitesse signing of the summer, joining Bryan Linssen, Thulani Serero, Remko Pasveer, Thomas Bruns and Tim Matavz along with Chelsea loanee’s Fankaty Dabo and Charlie Colkett.
