Vitesse Arnhem have announced the loan signing of young Chelsea midfielder Lewis Baker.

Hours after announcing the sale of Marko Vejinovic to Feyenoord, Vitesse have acted quickly to seal a replacement, with Chelsea midfielder Lewis Baker joining for the rest of the season.
The 20-year-old has only made one first team appearance for Chelsea, but was named talent of the year in 2014 after impressing for the Premier League club’s youth side. Last season the midfielder spent time on loan with MK Dons and Sheffield Wednesday.
Baker becomes the 15th Chelsea player to be loaned to Vitesse over the past few seasons, following in the footsteps of Gael Kakuta, Betrand Traore, Christian Atsu and Tomas Kalas among others.
