Vitesse Arnhem have confirmed the signing of FK Haugesund midfielder Sondre Tronstad.

Vitesse have been following the 24-year-old for some time and on Friday they finally got their man.

Tronstad, who has been with FK Haugesund since joining from Huddersfield Town in 2016, has signed a three-year deal in Arnhem.

Vitesse technical director Mark van Hintum told the club’s website, “We have been following Sondre for a long time. He is an intelligent and controlling midfielder, with a strong competitive mentality. He works extremely hard.”
