Michel Vlap scored twice as Anderlecht defeated Waasland-Beveren 3-0 to keep their playoff hopes alive.

The former Heerenveen midfielder scored in Anderlecht’s last match with KAS Eupen and after only eight minutes, he was once again on the scoresheet. He fired in after being set up by Jérémy Doku.

In the 66th minute, Vlap made it 2-0 after an excellent combination with Sambi Lokonga. Francis Amuzu then added a late third, which moves Anderlecht to eighth.

Vlap has now scored eight league goals this season and is Anderlecht’s top scorer.
