Sources have confirmed to Voetbal International that VVV-Venlo is hoping to sign English talent Reece Oxford on loan from Augsburg.

Oxford became a sensation when he made his Premier League debut for West Ham United at the age of 16 but he has failed to live upto his early promise so far.
The defender/midfielder had loan spells with Reading and Borussia Monchengladbach before joining Augsburg on a four-year deal in the summer. He has made eight appearances for the German club so far but none since November 3rd.
According to VI, VVV-Venlo have held talks with Augsburg over a loan deal and Oxford is said to be open to joining the Eredivisie side.
English media state that there could be a clause to make a loan permanent in any deal, but VI do not believe this is an option.
