VVV-Venlo has confirmed the signing of Leon Guwara from Utrecht on loan until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old full-back is the second signing for VVV this month after the arrival of centre-back Kristopher Da Graca.

Guwara has only made one appearance for Utrecht this season and he is happy to be given the chance to play. He told the VVV website, “I’m really ready for that again. In Venlo I want to show what I can do.”

The German played for Werder Bremen and FC Kaiserslautern before joining Utrecht in 2018.
