According to the Guardian, there is a three-way fight to sign Porto defender Bruno Martins-Indi with Stoke City, West Brom and Crystal Palace all in the market for the Dutchman.

It seemed certain that the centre-back was on his way to Stoke City, where he spent last season on loan, but yesterday Crystal Palace agreed a £13 million fee with Porto. Martins-Indi has also agreed terms with Frank de Boer’s side, but it is far from a done deal yet.

West Brom are trying to trump Crystal Palace and could offer £15 million, while Stoke City remain in the fight and will match any offer made for the Dutch international.

The only certainty at the moment is that Martins-Indi will leave Portugal, where he moved in 2014 from Feyenoord. He made 70 appearances over two-years at Porto.
