The 2-1 first leg defeat in Amsterdam seemed to be the beginning of the end for the club’s run in Europe and also Netherlands
After their win over Club Brugge in the Europa League, Red Bull Salzburg pipped
However, Ajax’s stunning win over Real Madrid has now put Netherlands back into the driving seat for 11th. However, Red Bull Salzburg would move above them once again if they were to beat Napoli on Thursday.
Dutch football fans will now be firm Napoli supporters for the next two weeks as they hope to seal 11th spot without Ajax having to work wonders in the quarter-finals.

I admittedly don’t understand the math here, but this just seems odd.
I know Austria previously had 2 teams involved but it seems to me that Ajax advancing in the R16 of the UCL should be counting a heck of a lot more than UEL wins at this stage of each competition.
Either way, go Napoli.
Oh nice, Willem II in the CL next year… lol
