te vrede fknAccording to Algameen Dagblad reporter Mikos Gouka, who claims to have an English source, Wigan have offered €800,000 for the Feyenoord attacker, but the Eredivisie side are holding out for at least €1 million.

The difference in valuation is not far, and if Wigan up their offer then a deal could be reached before the transfer window shuts on the 2nd of February. The 23-year-old has scored eight goals in 20 appearances this season, but he is hoping to leave Rotterdam in search for more regular first team action.

If Te Vrede does leave for Wigan, Feyenoord will be looking to sign a replacement, with ex-Vitesse striker Mike Havenaar the number one target.
