According to various reports, Georginio Wijnaldum is set to seal a move to Barcelona.

The midfielder is out of contract with Liverpool this summer and will depart the club on a free transfer. A move to Bayern Munich was put forward as a possibility at the weekend, but it appears Wijnaldum is heading for Barcelona.

Voetbal International is reporting that Wijnaldum’s agent Humprey Nijman and legal adviser Jan Kabalt spoke with the Barcelona leadership on Tuesday about a contract for the 30-year-old. A three-year deal is set to be signed by the Netherlands international.

Wijnaldum will join Ronald Koeman and Frenkie de Jong at the Nou Camp and will shortly be followed by Memphis Depay, who is also in talks with the Spanish giants over a free transfer move.
