Wijnaldum has been out of action for six months after suffering a back injury in Septmember, but according to Voetbal International the midfielder is looking to return this weekend.
The 23-year-old was in great form before picking up his injury, netting four goals in six Eredivisie matches which earned him a call up to the Dutch national team, for who he know has three caps.
His return will be a huge boost for PSV boss Phillip Cocu, who’s side have recovered from a slow start and now sit 2nd in the league table, which would see them qualify for the Champions League.
Wijnaldum will also have the chance to prove his fitness to Netherlands boss Louis van Gaal, and could make a late charge to be included in his World Cup squad this summer.
