The home side, who shocked Feyenoord last week, began the game confidently and took the lead after only 12 minutes when Ben Sahar raced onto a fantastic through ball from Jordens Peeters before calmly finishing into the net from a tight angle.
Willem II continued to dominate with NAC keeper Jelle ten Rouwelaar having to make a fine stop from Robert Braber’s header before denying Samuel Armenteros.
Against the run of play NAC Breda equalised just before the break through Uros Matic, with the midfielder bursting into the Willem II half before sending a low strike into the bottom corner from just outside the box.
The match appeared to be heading for a draw but in the 90th minute NAC failed to clear a cross and Braber fired past Rouwelaar to seal all three points.
Willem II have now won three of their opening six matches and are only two away from the total victories they achieved during the 2012-13 season where they got relegated. The Tilburg side sit comfortably 7th while NAC sit just behind them in 8th
