Willem II have confirmed the signing of striker Paul Gladon on a two-year deal.

The 27-year-old had his contract with English side Wolves dissolved in January and he then spent six months with Groningen before leaving at the end of the season.

After weighing up his options, Gladon has now decided to join Willem II on a two-year deal.

Gladon told the Willem II website, “I’m glad I signed with Willem II for a long time. I have been at different clubs in recent years, but now I need more stability. I found it here at Willem II with a two-year contract. ”

The striker is a replacement for Alexander Isak, who enjoyed an excellent loan spell at Willem II before moving to Real Sociedad earlier this summer.
