Willem II have announced that attacking midfielder Mike Trésor Ndayishimiye has signed a permanent deal with the club.

The attacking midfielder has been a revelation for Willem II this season after joining the club on a loan deal from NEC Nijmegen in the summer.

After scoring eight goals and giving six assists, Ndayishimiye has gained attention from several clubs, but Willem II have now used an option in the loan deal to make the move permanent.

The Belgian has signed a contract until 2023 in Tilburg, with Willem II paying an undisclosed fee to NEC.

The 20-year-old told the Willem II website, “I really enjoyed my first six months at Willem II. The results and my development are better than expected, I feel the confidence of the club and I feel very much at home here.”
