willems psv djjdPSV, currently second in the Eredivisie, just three points behind leaders Ajax, may be getting one of their best player’s back soon. Willems who has been dealing with knee issues for the better half of a year, is close to making his return for the first team and started for Jong PSV as they beat MVV Maastricht 2-0.

Willems also played 50 minutes in a friendly match during PSV’s winter break training camp in Malta in earlier this year.

Willems, the attacking minded left back, will be a huge gain for PSV, and if he’s in full fitness for PSV’s matches against Atletico Madrid in the Champion’s League knockout stages, the Spaniards will be weary of his quickness, skill and strength.

I'm a digital/social marketer out of Chicago. I grew up loving Dutch football - total football is the only way to play. I support PSV in the Eredivisie, and whatever team has the most Dutch guys on it in any other league. Hup Holland Hup!
