Swansea City reportedly contacted the winger’s representative’s this week and were willing to pay Ajax €10 million for the German international.
Ajax and Younes reportedly discussed the offer but the attacker has decided to reject the advances from the Premier League’s bottom-placed side.
The 24-year-old is now reportedly holding out for a move to Italian side Napoli, who have reportedly been interested in the winger for months. However, the Italian giants aren’t willing to delve deep into their pockets to sign him in January with Younes out of contract in the summer.
It is looking more likely that Younes remains with Ajax until the end of the season before leaving on a free transfer.
