Danny Blind has confirmed his Netherlands squad for the upcoming games against Belgium and Luxembourg.

Netherlands host Belgium in a friendly on the 9th of November before the World Cup qualifiers continue in Luxembourg four days later.
Blind has handed Sporting Lisbon left back Marvin Zeegelaar his first call-up to the national team, while Arjen Robben, Stijn Schaars and Jeremain Lens are included.
Kevin Strootman, who is suspended for the qualifier against Luxembourg has been left out of the squad, while there is no place for Jetro Willems, Leroy Fer or Robin van Persie.
The full squad is:

There is a few I’d swap out, but decent squad. De Roon for Schaars, Willems for Zeegelaar, and maybe Fer for Ramselaar, but other than that it’s a decent squad!
De roon for claise, Heodt for Bruma
I would prefer PVA as left back & willems ofcourse but kongolo & blind is acceptable. Not sure of Zeegelaar but I believe in giving first opportunity to all so let be for the best. Janmaat & VDW should be re-call back, karsdorp can learn from these two experienced international RB. Pieters, Indi & Fer all have decent playing time & performance in EPL so should be called but I think Blind is using this two games experimenting with other players. Clasie should not be picked as not having good games with his club nor previous national games. De Vrij partner at lazio, Hoedt also be given opportunity and lastly could also select babel as left winger. Maybe also to recall Nigel De Jong ? & where is Berghuis …is he injured…as he is a decent right winger
Glad Blind finally picked Jeremain Lens…. deserved the call given his excellent recent form at Fenerbahce.
De roon scored against man city for gosh sacks and he is the only in form dutch defensive midfielder playing in a top league, why is he not in the squad???
