Heerenveen winger Arber Zeneli has signed for Ligue 1 side Stade de Reims for around €4 million.

The French side reached an agreement with Heerenveen last week and after playing in the 3-1 cup loss to Ajax, Zeneli traveled to complete the deal.

Heerenveen will receive around €4 million for the Kosovo international, who has played 100 matches for the club since joining in 2016.

This season, Zeneli has contributed four goals and eleven assists in 20 matches. He was linked with Chelsea but will continue his future in France.

Heerenveen have now sold four players this month, Dave Bulthuis (Ulsan Hyundai), Marco Rojas (SönderjyskE) and Nicolai Naess (Sarpsborg).

The Frisians are working on signing Ajax winger Vaclav Cerny on loan.
