Hakim Ziyech is happy that his future is resolved after signing a new contract with Ajax.

The midfielder was expected to depart Amsterdam this summer with rumours of interest from the likes of Bayern Munich.
However, the only concrete offer came from Sevilla and Ziyech turned the Spanish club down. He has now extended his contract with Ajax for another year and will remain at Ajax this season.
Speaking to Ajax TV, Ziyech said on his new deal and the constant rumours, “Some things were true, some things were not. But yes, that is the game that is played in the summer.
“Not just for me, but for a lot of players that will be true. Some things are of course true – but for me there wasn’t the ideal club to trade in for Ajax. At a certain point I wanted clarity for myself. Last week that came. Then we immediately started talking. “

Have to give Ziyech credit he is loyal & would only live for the right project. He isn’t chasing money or fame. He is just a brilliant footballer who no doubt imo could play for a top 4 club in one of the top 5 leagues. But his happy to stay.
