Utrecht have confirmed the signing of PSV Eindhoven goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet on loan until the end of the season.

Zoet started the campaign as PSV’s number one but after a number of erratic performances he was dropped to the bench.

Lars Unnerstall and Robbin Ruiter are now ahead of the Netherlands international in the pecking order, and with a view on not missing out on the European Championships, Zoet has decided to leave Eindhoven.

Utrecht have confirmed the signing of the stopper on loan until the end of the season. He has been brought in after number one Maarten Paes suffered an injury during the winter break.

There was foreign interest in Zoet but he decided to join Utrecht in order to gain guaranteed first team action.
