According to Algemeen Dagblad, ADO Den Haag are set to sign Gianni Zuiverloon on a deal until the end of the season.

The 33-year-old has already played for ADO Den Haag between 2013 and 2016, before he went abroad with CyD Leonesa, Delhi Dynamos and Kerala Blasters.

Zuiverloon now returns to the Hague and will sign a contract until the end of the season, with the option of a second.

The versatile defender is a replacement for Peet Bijen, who is currently injured and may be out for a while.

Zuiverloon started his career with Feyenoord before spells with a number of clubs including Heerenveen, West Brom, Ipswich Town, and Mallorca.
