Moroccan winger Zakaria Aboukhlal has left AZ Alkmaar to join Ligue 1 side Toulouse.

AZ Alkmaar accepted a bid of €2 million excluding bonuses for the winger, who joins Dutchmen Branco van den Boomen and Stijn Spierings at the newly promoted Ligue 1 side.
AZ signed Aboukhlal from PSV Eindhoven back in 2019 and he has since gone on to make 69 Eredivisie appearances for the Alkmaar side.
The 22-year-old has signed a four-year deal in France and told the Toulouse website, “This is a historic club in France. It’s a new chapter of my career. I’d like to take this step and get even better here. I want to make the fans and the club happy.”
