The duo, who are both 21, have been with Ajax since 2017, but neither have yet made a breakthrough into the first-team. Thethani has 13 appearances for Jong Ajax, while Solomons has 14.
Both youngsters have expiring contracts this summer and their agent Jerome McCarthy has told KickOff.com that there is interest in his clients.
He said Grasshoppers wants Solomons while, “AC Milan is interested in Leo. But those transfers areĀ on holdĀ because of the consequences of the corona virus. They cannot leave the country.”
Ajax are still interested in offering Thethani a new deal, but McCarthy is waiting, “It is clear with Dean: his contract will not be extended. But with Leo there is still a small chance. Milan and Grasshoppers are very interested, but are still waiting to see how the corona crisis will develop.”
