Tuttosport believe the Italian club managed by Clarence Seedorf want to use Boetius’s cousin Urby Emanuelson to convince the winger that he should move to the San Siro.
The Italian paper also state that the winger could cost around €8 million, and AC Milan are hoping to get the deal done as quickly as possible, since this fee could rise if Boetius makes Netherlands squad for the World Cup.
The 20-year-old winger has been a key player for Feyenoord this season, netting nine goals in 26 games to help the Rotterdam club rise to 2nd in the table, and a possible Champions League place.
Boetius’s form was rewarded by a call up to Netherlands national team for the friendly with France last month, with the winger starting the 2-0 defeat.
A speedy winger with an eye for goal, Boetius is rated as one of the most talented youngsters in the Eredivisie, and despite having a contract until 2016, Feyenoord may struggle to keep hold of their star.
