According to Calciomercato, Mark van Bommel is now a candidate to be the new head coach of AC Milan.

Ralf Rangnick is the favourite to succeed current AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli at the end of the season.
However, Mark van Bommel’s name has been put forward, and according to Calciomercato, a conversation has taken place with AC Milan’s policymakers. The former AC Milan midfielder is said to have left a good impression during the conversation and is now on the list of possible candidates.
Van Bommel is joined on that list by Rangnick, Julian Nagelsmann and Marco Rose.
Van Bommel has been out of work since being sacked by PSV Eindhoven in December.
