00 van ginkeVan Ginkel had a frustrating start to his loan spell with AC Milan due to injuries, but has started the last eleven games, and was excellent in the 3-0 win over Torino on Sunday, setting up one goal and winning a penalty.

After the game, Inzaghi told the official AC Milan website that he hopes they will be able to strike a deal with Chelsea to keep the 22-year-old Dutchman for next season.

Inzaghi said, “Unfortunately he is not our player,”

“But he has grown a lot. He has played seven or eight games in a row and we are starting to see a great player. He does really well in training.

“Chelsea have great midfielders and he is in need of playing. My will would be, if possible, to keep him because he can give us a big hand.”

Van Ginkel has made 16 appearances for AC Milan, scoring once and adding three assists.
