persie van manA handful of Turkish and Italian clubs have been enquiring about Robin Van Persie this summer: Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Juventus and AC Milan are getting the most headlines with RvP’s name attached. So far, he has been dubbed too expensive for Galatasaray, whose finances have been in public turmoil over the past few seasons, opting out because of his pricey wages.

However, it looks like he may have one more chance, possibly even just half a season to prove his worth with the Red Devils. The striker has admitted he is in career limbo, saying that he knows he can still perform at the highest level, however requires to play every week and doesn’t want to upset the nice life his family has in Manchester. The stout Louis Van Gaal may have given RvP a lifeline by admitting he would need to see Van Persie put more effort into training during pre-season.

A move away from the rigorous schedule and tough-tackling Premier League may actually see Van Persie extend his career, at the very least with the national team; however, the striker still believes he can continue on full-steam ahead and will do his best to prove that to Manchester United.
