Tuttosport are reporting that AC Milan had scouts present at Netherlands U21 match against Portugal on Tuesday with Adam Maher and Jetro Willems two of the targets the Rossoneri had their eyes on. Jetro Willems played the whole ninety minutes in the 5-4 defeat, while Maher was substituted midway through the second half.
Central midfielder Adam Maher has been linked with AC Milan for some time, with the Italian giants said to be an admirer of the 21-year-old when he was at AZ Alkmaar. Left back Jetro Willems has been with PSV since 2011, with the 20-year-old already racking up 12 appearances for Netherlands national team.
Both players would not come cheap for AC Milan though, with Maher contracted until 2018, and Willems until 2017.
Tuttosport also believe AC Milan are keeping a close eye on Lasse Schone’s contract situation in hope of snatching the Ajax star on the cheap.
