gehrt adoSitting 16th and 15th before kick off both sides needed a good result to move them away from the relegation places, and it was ADO Den Haag who made the best start.

On 13 minutes the ball fell to Mathias Gehrt on the edge of the box, and his first time effort was deflected into the back of the net.

After the half hour mark Mike van Duinen made it 2-0 to the hosts as the striker won the ball in the box, and fired into the bottom corner.

Cambuur failed to threaten Coutinho in the home goal, and Gianni Zuiverloon should have made it 3-0 on the hour mark, but he could only head over when free in the box.

The third goal finally came on 70 minutes, with Gehrt grabbing his second, and once again it was a deflected effort from the edge of the box, which this time wrong footed Leonard Nienhuis in the Cambuur goal.

The win moves ADO Den Haag out of the bottom three and above Cambuur who are now 16th, and are still to pick up an away win after seven games.
