ADO Den Haag are up to 10th in the Eredivisie after a 4-1 victory over 10-man Utrecht at the Kyocera Stadion.

ado denThe home side took charge from the kick off, with Michiel Kramer heading just wide as they pinned Utrecht into their own half. On 25 minutes Utrecht were reduced to 10 men when Steve de Ridder was shown his second yellow card.

From that moment on it was all ADO Den Haag, and they found the opening goal on 31 minutes as Roland Alberg sent a low shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

It was 2-0 ten minutes later with Utrecht defender Matthieu Delpierre robbed of the ball in the box before Mike van Duinen placed a finish into the corner past Robbin Ruiter.

Utrecht couldn’t find a way back into the game in the second half and Mitchell Schet finished from close range after more poor Utrecht defending to make it 3-0 with 70 minutes gone. Five minutes later a swift counter attack saw Kramer put through on goal, and the forward finished well to make it 4-0.

Utrecht pulled one back in the last minute as former ADO midfielder Jens Toornstra fired into the top corner from an acute angle, but it proved nothing but a consolation.

Its now nine games unbeaten in charge for ADO coach Henk Fraser, while Utrecht remain five points off the drop zone in 14th.
