ADO Den Haag boss Henk Fraser has pointed the finger at his defence after the 2-1 defeat to PEC Zwolle on Saturday.

Fraser’s side were 1-0 up and comfortable going into the last twenty minutes, but then they conceded two goals to condemn themselves to their third defeat in a row.
After the game Henk Fraser spoke to NOS, and said “I thought that we were the better team in the first half and had reasonable control had of the game. Fifteen minutes into the second half we had the feeling to going in search of the 2nd goal that would have put us 2-0 up. In that phase of the game they (PEC Zwolle) took more risks in the game.I thought the equalizer was very fortunate.”
Fraser then took aim at his defence, “But if you defend for the way we did for the second goal that can always be improved upon. If you look through rose tinted glasses their goal was a good attacking wise but I was a defender as a player and I saw many elements from a defensive point of view that could have been better”
Defender Gianni Zuiverloon in particular angered Fraser, who admitted he should have substituted him earlier, “That is maybe my only mistake that I had not substituted him earlier. Because he did not defend well and I should have recognized that. So it is not just only the mistake of my team
“If I have to criticize my team. I also have to criticize myself and I should have substituted Gianni earlier in the game .It was recognizable.”
