ADO Den Haag has sacked Aleksandar Rankovic after the 4-2 defeat against FC Twente.

The Serbian was appointed in the summer after Alan Pardew’s contract was not renewed.

However, Rankovic has managed one win and a draw in the opening eight games, with ADO Den Haag now sitting 16th in the table.

Saturday’s 4-2 loss against FC Twente has proved to be the final straw with Rankovic fired after the game.
