ADO Den Haag has confirmed the signing of midfielder Tomislav Gomelt from the Italian side Crotone.

The 26-year-old comes in to strengthen Ruud Brood’s options on a deal until the end of the season.

Gomelt told the club’s website, “When I got the chance to join this beautiful club, I immediately wanted to grab it. I think my playing style suits ADO Den Haag and the Eredivisie. At Crotone I mainly played as a defensive midfielder, but I can actually fill all roles in midfield. I play where the coach needs me.”

Gomelt spent time in the Tottenham Hotspur academy before spells with Espanyol, Royal Antwerp, Bari, Cluj, Rijeka, Lorca and Dinamo Bucaresti before he joined Crotone in 2019.
